We are able to achieve the results we do, because we customize our program to each and every dog.

Our Program

We are not a drop in service! We know each dog’s individual personality, triggers or issues and history. We work with the owners to customize a program that will provide the desired results on a case by case basis. It can range from Board and Trains, to Personal Training Sessions or simply our Daily Program.

Each one of our pack members are required to participate in at least two classes per week. Our success record is only possible because of our incredible dog parents and their commitment to bettering the lives of their pups. It is also how we have an impeccable safety record and safety is of number one importance to us.

Our program lays a solid foundation, but to see the best results, the leadership we provide will also need to be continued at home. We want you to succeed and will help guide you along the way. If you are ready to make a commitment to your dog’s health and happiness, we would love to hear from you!

From Treadmills to Friendship Circles

Everything we do has a purpose! Yes, it creates some pretty cute videos, but it is those small details that make the biggest difference. From the moment we start working with your dog until the moment we say goodbye, we are communicating with them in ways an onlooker may not see.

A dog feels loved when they feel safe. To feel safe, they must have trust in their leader. A leader must be calm and confident, firm yet gentle, quiet and fearless. We take our time to establish a relationship with each and every dog, and give them the communication they need to see us as their trusted leaders. We start off slowly building this bond, asking more and more of them as time goes on. The more we ask of them, the more direction they want, and with each accomplishment their confidence grows and their overall happiness increases.

What is healthy socialization?

Some people will tell us their dog is aggressive towards other dogs, then we come for an evaluation and we see that they aren’t aggressive they are just unsure, nervous, scared, excited, protective of the owner or a combination of these. Dogs are naturally social creatures and what happens with leash reactivity 99.9% of the time is there is an excitement and a want to meet the other dog. What the leash does is creates a frustration, and that’s where you see the explosion.

Once dogs experience being with other dogs in an environment where their needs & boundaries are respected whilst fulfilling and channeling their attention and energy, their feelings of pressure and uncertainty decrease and their curiosity and enjoyment increase. We then teach our clients how to reset the relationship with their dog so that their dog trusts and respects them first rather than the relationship being purely based on affection; Then these kinds of issues disappear.

People often think that by taking their dogs to the dog park or regular daycare it will help with socialization. But, what it tends to do is create an excited association with other dogs. We don’t practice excitement. We practice relaxation and help facilitate their communication between one another. We practice calm, gentle, respectful, intimate socialization.

Once our dogs have done their work for the day, you will typically see some dogs lying in the sun…

…others snoozing on the lounge or a few drinking together from a large bowl. It’s about them being together without feeling the need to jump on each other all the time. We tend to think that socialization is when they play. The most social of dogs don’t constantly play. They feel completely at ease to play or lie next to each other or have a have a snooze while others are playing around them.

We create a healthy calm association with other dogs. We do allow dogs to play, but we make sure that the play doesn’t become too rough. We teach them to self regulate their own playtime. Play is monitored and customized to each dog. Once we build up an insecure dog’s confidence, play is often a huge milestone! It is our job to make sure that other dogs don’t put too much pressure on a sensitive, unsure dog, new to play, so that they feel safe to play more and more.

What Clients Are Saying

My husband and I both work and we were looking for the most appropriate trainer for our puppy who has experienced a lot of trauma in his youth. Renée and her crew from Dingo Doggies Campus has been an amazing resource for us. She has worked wonders with him in terms of training and giving him the path to be a great dog and companion.
